Downtown Blues Band Day - Saturday November 17th
It's official.
The Mayor and Councillors in the City
of Fredericton, NB have declared - Saturday November 17, 2007 - Downtown
Blues Band Day.
It was announced during the regular city council meeting this evening,
Tuesday Nov. 13/07.
In appreciation of the City's Declaration, the band's lead singer,
Paul Campbell, along with other members of the DBB, led the Mayor and
Councillors in a rousing chorus of "Mustang Sally". It was
a very special moment for all in attendance.
It was a fitting start to a week of celebrating the 20th anniversary
of Fredericton's own - Downtown Blues Band.
